Virtual Consultations

Due to the current need to remain in contact with patients and the restrictions in place for social contact the practice has now set up telephone and video conferencing facilities which if the patient consent to will be able to be used to continue current contact with patients or review new patients. Prescriptions will also now be electronically sent to pharmacists who are willing to accept these prescriptions and patients can either pick these up or get them delivered by courier organised through the pharmacy. Any clinical discussions and meetings between professionals or business meetings will also be conducted through video or telephone conferencing. The practice has its own platform for this facility.  No data will be recorded. Notes will be made in the usual way as they are currently and maintained in the patients’ file.
